Living Earth: Gatherings for Deep Change
Hemlocks in SW Portland

A little light in a long winter's night...

Winter can be especially hard for neighbors or others who are less fortunate than we realize. Please help bring a little comfort into the dark, cold season ahead.

Sisters of the Road will distribute much-needed personal items to folks who come into their café. These items cannot be purchased with food stamps or WIC coupons and most soup kitchens, thrift stores, and food pantries do not supply them, either.

You can donate items directly to Sisters, or bring supplies that you can donate or a special financial donation for Sisters to our Winter Solstice Gathering on Saturday, December 16. Living Earth volunteers will deliver the donations to Sisters. If you'd like to help collect donations and help make the delivery, call Living Earth at 503-788-7311.

Please be sure all items you donate are fresh and new. The list of most-needed items is below.
