Help warm
a neighbor's winter
- Winter can be especially hard for neighbors or others who are less fortunate than we realize. Find out how you can help!

Join us for our ninth annual Winter Solstice gathering for ceremony
and celebration through shared rituals, singing, dancing, truth-telling,
and friendship.
The Solstice season brightens our awareness of the timeless celestial
dance, the endless circling of our tiny planet-home through the
vastness of space. The universe unfolds beyond our understanding,
and Solstice brings a perfect reminder to cherish our humble place
among the stars.
Our celebration will be active and participatory, with circle dances,
winter rituals and poetry, candlelight, circle singing, and potluck
holiday treats.
In spite of all the human-created turmoil filling the world, the
stars twinkle brightly in the winter sky, the moon casts her magical
silver light over the land, and the planets and galaxies continue
their timeless dance, moving us deeper into darkness and then ever-so-gradually
back into the light. So let’s celebrate our hearts, our spirit,
and the treasure of community as we brace ourselves for the winter
months to come.
Bring your favorite seasonal treats to share and join us to weave a midwinter wreath of dreams.
Helpful hints to avoid Peacock Lane
holiday traffic (it is intense!) :
- Dont try to
come east on Stark!
- Take E. Burnside to SE
45th, turn south to Stark, and west to the Meeting
House at 4312 Stark, OR
- Take SE Hawthorne to SE 49th; north on 49th to
Stark, then west on Stark to the Meeting House.
