Sunday Evening Gathering
Sunday Evening Gathering is offered on the third Sunday of each
month as a time to quietly connect at the heart.
We sit in silence from 7:00 to 7:30 for meditation, prayer, or
simple stillness, and then reflect on engaged spirituality and the
deepest roots of our work in the world.
Our Next Gathering
Sunday, April 16
7:00-8:30 pm
Friends Meeting House
4312 SE Stark, Portland |
We live in challenging times, often wound up in the pace and issues
of the day. But when we take time to sit and simply be, we find
the world is still beautiful and our hearts are open and loving.
Framework for this Circle
Sunday Evening Gathering provides an opportunity to reflect deeply
on who we are and how the world seems to us, to acknowledge our
interconnection and refresh our sense of wholeness.
After sitting, we reflect, listen, and discuss the elements central
to lives of engaged spirituality. In doing so we gain awareness
of our collective wisdom and the shared heart expressed in the circle.
